NEA Announces Constituencies Task Force

The New England Archivists (NEA) seeks to create a Constituencies Task Force (CTF) to identify the various constituent groups among the membership (current and lapsed) and to investigate their needs for professional development and exchange of ideas.

At the current time, we seek to fill the following openings:

  • Chair
  • Co-Chair

See the Task Force page for further details about this group and for information on volunteering.

Inclusion and Diversity Statements

A few weeks ago, the NEA Board sent three draft inclusion and diversity statements for your comments and feedback. These statements were also available at NEA’s spring meeting where attendees indicated their preference. We received many responses - thank you to everyone who participated.

We are making the statements available for our members who were unable to attend the Spring meeting as well as those who did not have a chance to indicate their preference at the meeting.

Please take a moment to read the three draft inclusion and diversity statements and choose your preference:  You can also leave comments and feedback on our inclusion and diversity statements forum here.

The NEA Board will take into consideration your feedback and preference in developing a final statement.

Thank you for helping to write NEA’s inclusion and diversity statement.
